MEET OUR SEPARATION ANXIETY SPECIALISTS

At BAE dogs our mission is to strengthen the relationship between the dog and their human partner. Each dog receives an individualized training plan, that focuses on positive-reinforcement and humane training methods, from our certified trainers.

When creating these plans we look at each dog as the unique individual that they are. Each plan is created after an initial consultation where we gather extensive information on the dog’s history of learning, health, and current environment. You can expect the training plans to address meeting the dog’s basic needs, details on how to set them up for success, and realistic teachable skills that address their well-being, safety, and how to increase their comfortably in their world. Our hope is that training will be enjoyable for both you and your dog and as stress free as possible. Our goal is that when you complete your training package you feel that you understand your dog on a deeper level and also feel that the plan is accessible and realistic for you to implement.

We create our training plans using humane methods and adhere to learning theory, LIMA and the humane hierarchy. These methods are effective for all breeds, ages and personalities!

Why our Background Matters

Behavior is our passion and Expertise!

“Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is the science in which the principles of the analysis of behavior are applied systematically to improve socially significant behavior and experimentation is used to identify the variables responsible for behavior change (Cooper, Heron, and Heward, 2007).”

With our background working in the field ABA we have studied behavior and applied its principles with a vast number of individuals. We have completed rigorous coursework in this field, which also requires intensive ongoing supervision.

In addition to completing coursework and supervision, a BCBA must also complete and pass a board exam, and complete a recertification every two years, which includes continued education in the field.
