DAY TRAINING

We work one-on-one with your pup to increase skills and modify challenging behaviors. This is an ideal option for individuals who have busy schedules, or may not have the ability to join every session.

We do require your participation in the final training session as a way to transition these skills.

HUMAN COACHING

We help you teach your pup new skills and modify challenging behaviors. This will include modeling and coaching from us!

This will require your participation in each session.

REMOTE TRAINING

This is the ideal option if you live out of our general service area, don’t have access to a yard or outside space during the current pandemic, if your pup has extreme fears of people and the outside environment, or if your pup’s needs require addressing specific indoor scenarios.

HOW WE CAN HELP

BASIC MANNERS

Strengthening the relationship and engagement between the dog and the human by teaching basic cues including:

  • mat training

  • recall

  • loose leash walking

  • sit

  • down

  • stay

ACCESS AND ATTENTION

Work with dogs to replace behaviors for:

  • jumping

  • mouthing

  • barking

AVOIDANCE AND ESCAPE

Avoidant and escape behaviors may present in the form of:

  • snapping

  • biting behavior

  • lunging

  • barking

  • growling

We address the above behaviors by creating a positive association to the following triggers:

  • other animals

  • people

  • handling for the purpose of health and wellness

  • other stimuli in the environment (e.g. sounds, objects, movements, etc.)

CRATE TRAINING

Fundamentals of crate training for both the dog and their human companion:

  • Building a positive association to the crate

  • Appropriate usage of the crate

  • crate games

HOUSE TRAINING

We will create an individualized plan for your dog’s house-training needs.

SEPARATION DISTRESS

Teaching a dog to be comfortable when they are left alone. 

PUPPY BASICS

We will teach puppy basic cues:

  • sit

  • down

  • stay

  • recall

  • first steps of mat training

  • first steps of targeting

We will also cover:

  • foundations of learning

  • crate training

  • house training

  • mouthing/bite inhibition

  • socialization and building positive associations to their new world
